What is the Adventure Club?

The Adventure Club is Maverik’s way of rewarding customers with everyday fuel discounts, prizes, free stuff and loads of other perks. It offers two levels of benefits via the Adventure Club card and the premium Adventure Club Nitro® debit card. At purchase, show either card or enter your phone number to receive instant fuel discounts, accumulate virtual punches in our Punch-It! program, and earn valuable Trail Points to Win Stuff and Buy Stuff.

What's up with the Maverik app?

The Maverik app puts the complete Adventure Club program at your fingertips. You can create a brand-new Adventure Club card account, activate your existing Adventure Club card, edit your profile and preferences, track your Punch-It! progress, redeem your Trail Points, locate stores and fuel prices, watch MavTV, get exclusive deals and more!

What about old Adventure Club accounts?

If you have an Adventure Club card that you picked up before 2013, it is no longer supported. Please activate an Adventure Club card at maverik.com or on the Maverik app. If you have a Chrome Card, you’re good to go — it functions just like the current Adventure Club card. Keep using it, and make sure you activate it to earn a FREE fountain drink.

How do I create a new login?

My app was just updated, now what do I do?

All you have to do is open the app and tap ‘Sign In.’ You’ll be asked to provide your username (email, phone number, or Adventure Card number) and set a new password. Simple, eh?

Can I use my old login?

Your username (Email address, phone number or card number) will stay the same, but you’ll be prompted to go through the ‘reset password’ process when you first sign in the app.

What is better about the new app?

Just like a cool 44 oz. drink on a hot summer day, this new app will make you feel good from the time you download it. The new design, better user experience, location finder, and tons of offers will get you moving on your next adventure.

How do I get my free fountain drink, up to XL?

Simple. Sign into the new app and your free fountain drink (up to XL) Punch-it will be automatically loaded on your account! Just grab a refreshing fountain drink, show the punch-it to the cashier, and tackle your thirst.

Do I still get the same benefits as the previous app? And will my rewards points transfer over?

Of course! Your rewards points are safe and your Punch-it and Trail Points will transfer over.

Will the buy stuff and win stuff items change?

The buy stuff and win stuff will expand and be customized to your interests! You will still be able to spend your Trail Points however you’d like. 

What are the Adventure Club Nitro® card benefits?

When you pay with your Nitro card, you instantly save 6¢ on every gallon of fuel you purchase. Nitro card users get 2x the standard number of Trail Points on every eligible purchase with your card. You also get Maverik’s instant price match on fuel, 99¢ fountain drinks- up to an XL (foam included), and a free Bonfire burrito for new activated Nitro cards (replacement cards are not eligible for new Nitro card activation free products).

Nitro card users must use their card for payment to get these exclusive benefits. If you forget your Nitro card, you can use your phone number to get Adventure Club card benefits like: a 2¢-per-gallon instant fuel discount, Trail Points and Punch-It! virtual punch cards.

How do I get a Nitro card?

Nitro cards are available exclusively at all Maverik store locations. Stop by a Maverik store and ask an Adventure Guide for a Nitro card to activate your card and get started.

How do I activate my Nitro card?

Use the Maverik app or go to maverik.com to complete the enrollment process. Go to ‘Account,’ ‘Nitro card’ and follow the steps to link your new Nitro card to your bank checking account.

How do I replace my Nitro card if it is lost or damaged?

Stop by any Maverik store and ask an Adventure Guide for a new Nitro card. Activate the Nitro card via the Maverik app or at maverik.com and follow the instructions to update your information with the new Nitro card number.

What is instant price match?

Maverik’s instant price match is an exclusive benefit for Nitro card members. In the rare event that a local qualified competitor’s fuel is priced below your 6¢ Nitro card discount, you may receive the greater of the 6¢ discount from the posted retail pump price per gallon or instant price match it. Customers must pay with the Nitro card to receive the 6¢ per gallon discount and instant price match. For more details see our terms and conditions.

Can I incur debt with the Nitro card?

The Nitro card draws funds from your checking account after each transaction. It is not a credit card and you will never incur debt to Maverik. You should, however, ensure that your account has sufficient funds for each transaction. ACH debits can take up to three days to appear. Please refer to your bank’s overdraft or NSF policy.

Are there signup fees for the Nitro card?

There are no sign-up fees. Your account will be verified through a compliant payment processor. Before you can use your Nitro card with your bank, we must first validate bank account ownership. If your bank is not eligible for instant verification, follow the steps of the micro-deposit validation process (see FAQ above) where small deposits will be made to your account which you will then input to confirm the account. It usually takes a few days for the deposits to show up on your account. Once validated, you may begin using your Nitro card immediately.

Does the Nitro card require a credit check?

No. Your account will be verified through a compliant payment processor. Before you can use your Nitro card with your bank, we must first validate bank account ownership. If your bank is not eligible for instant verification, follow the steps of the micro-deposit validation process (see FAQ above) where small deposits will be made to your account which you will then input to confirm the account. It usually takes a few days for the deposits to show up on your account. Once validated, you may begin using your Nitro card immediately.

Is the Nitro card secure?

Absolutely! All financial information will now be processed through Fiserv/First Data, the same PCI compliant company that processes Maverik’s credit cards.

What if I change my banking account? How do I update my information?

Use the Maverik app or go to maverik.com, then go to ‘Account,’, ‘Nitro card,’ ‘Update Account info,’ from here you will be able to update personal information, checking account details, Nitro card number and reset the Nitro card pin.

To update your banking account, go to ‘Bank Details’ and fill in the new checking account information. Your account will be verified through a compliant payment processor. Before you can use your Nitro card with your bank, we must first validate bank account ownership. If your bank is not eligible for instant verification, within a few days, you will see two small deposits made to your checking account. Please log into your online banking account or check your checking account statement and note the two deposit amounts from “BUYPASS DEPOSITS”. Once you see these two deposits in your checking account, return to your loyalty account, select ‘Nitro card’ and follow the instructions on the screen to verify the two deposit amounts and complete the process. Once validated, you may begin using your Nitro card immediately.

What has changed with the new Nitro card?

The appearance of the Nitro card has changed, and the sign-up and activation process has been streamlined. Nitro cards are no longer mailed, they may be picked up at any Maverik store by asking the Adventure Guide for a Nitro card. The Nitro card must be activated by following the steps on the Maverik app or maverik.com.

Can I still use my old Nitro card?

Yes. Old Nitro cards will still work.

Do I still get the same benefits from my old card if I get a new one?

Yes. Your 6¢ fuel discount and other Nitro rewards have not changed.

How do I add my checking account information to link to my card?

Use the Maverik app or go to maverik.com, then go to ‘Account,’, ‘Nitro card,’ and follow the enrollment process. Your account will be verified through a compliant payment processor. In some instances, certain bank or credit unions are not eligible for instant verification, in this case you will need to follow a micro-deposit validation process (please see below FAQ for more about micro-deposit validations).

What is the micro-deposit validation process?

If your bank is not eligible for instant verification, before you can use your Nitro card with your bank, we must first validate bank account ownership. Within a few days, you will see two small deposits made to your checking account. Please log into your online banking or check your bank statement and note the two deposit amounts from “BUYPASS DEPOSITS”. Once you see these two deposits in your checking account, return to your loyalty account (via the Maverik app or at maverik.com), select ‘Nitro card’ and follow the instructions on the screen to verify the two deposit amounts and complete the process. Once validated, you may begin using your Nitro card immediately.

Will my app automatically update my new card information?

No. If you get a new Nitro card, you will need to activate it via the Maverik app or at maverik.com.

Who do I contact for issues with my card?

Call the Maverik Customer Service Center toll free number which is found on the back of your Nitro card. Based on your selection you will be transferred to the Maverik Card Services group or the Maverik Customer Service group.

Does the Nitro card expire?

No. The Nitro card does not expire.

Can I have two Nitro cards on my Adventure Club account?

No. Only one Nitro card per account is allowed for each Adventure Club account.

Why does the card have more numbers than the previous card?

The new numbering system was chosen to include a check digit to reduce errors during enrollment.

What are the Adventure Club Card Benefits?

When you swipe an Adventure Club™ card at Maverik, you get an instant 2¢ per gallon fuel discount, earn Trail Points with most purchases and earn freebies with Punch-It! virtual punch cards. To unlock these benefits, you have to activate your card or create a digital card via maverik.com and the Maverik app.

You can pick up a physical card at any Maverik, or simply create a digital card and use that or your your phone number (or other alternate ID). Either way, you need to activate your rewards via maverik.com or download the Maverik app.

Why do I need to activate my Adventure Club card?

If you want to unlock the power of your Adventure Club card, you need to activate your account. After that, you’ll save 2¢ on fuel — every gallon, every day — earn freebies with Punch-It! virtual punch cards and earn Trail Points you can spend to Win Stuff and Buy Stuff. Unregistered cards are just pieces of plastic (albeit cool-looking pieces of plastic), so don’t miss out on the savings. During activation, you’ll be able to:

• Create a 10-digit alternate ID — your phone number by default — to use when you don’t have your card

• Set communication preferences to be notified of special offers, events, prizes and more.

How do I activate my Adventure Club card?

You can activate your Adventure Club account in 2 ways:

1. Go to the Adventure Club page on maverik.com and follow the prompts.

2. Download it for free at the App Store or Google Play.

What if I damage or lose my Adventure Club card?

If you’ve activated your Adventure Club card account, you don’t need to replace your physical card. You can simply type in your phone number (or other alternate ID) or scan your digital card in the Maverik app before fueling or at the register. If you need a new card, please pick one up at any of our locations.

How do I earn Trail Points?

You earn one Trail Point for every gallon of fuel you purchase and one Trail Point for every dollar you spend inside the store, except on gift cards, lottery tickets, tobacco items and alcohol.

Do my Trail Points expire?

Every Trail Point you earn lasts 365 days. Before a Trail Point dies, give its life a purpose and spend it via the Maverik app or maverik.com.

How do I know how many Trail Points/punches I have?

Track your Trail Point accumulation and Punch-It! progress on the bottom of your receipt, online at maverik.com or through the Maverik app. You can also set your communication preferences to give you an account update via email after every transaction. You’ll always know where you stand on the path to freebies and rewards.

What is the difference between “Buy Stuff” and “My Stuff”?

Every time you swipe your Adventure Club Card, you are receiving Trail Points. As you accrue Trail Points, you can use them to “Buy Stuff”. When “Buy Stuff” items are purchased they are transferred to the “My Stuff” section of your Adventure Club Account.

How do I know when I have “Buy Stuff” items to redeem?

You can always check your redeemable items using the Maverik App or maverik.com. Another way to view your items is by checking the bottom of your receipt after a purchase.

How do I redeem "My Stuff" items?

My Stuff allows you to redeem Trail Points for prizes without having to wait for your items to be shipped in the mail. Redemption is as easy as visiting any Maverik location, grabbing the items you purchased using your Trail Points, and using your Adventure Club Card/phone number. The Adventure Guide will ask if you would like to apply your My Stuff freebie on your purchase. Simply say ‘yes’ and enjoy!

How do Punch-It! virtual punch cards work?

Punch-It! allows you to earn freebies for various products without having to carry around the physical cards. You’ll be on your way to free fountain drinks, hot drinks, BonFire food and more – Maverik is always working to bring you more Punch-It! deals. Track your Punch-It! progress on the bottom of your receipts, via the Maverik app or on maverik.com.

How do I redeem my Punch-It! freebie?

Punch-It! redemption is easy — bring the product to the register on your next purchase and present your Adventure Club card or phone number. The adventure guide will ask if you’d like to apply your freebie on that purchase. You simply have to say “Yes.” Act fast — you have 15 days to redeem your freebie before it expires.

Can I fill up more than one Punch-It! card on my account?

Yes! But redeem it right away! Each freebie expires 15 days after you earn it.
